Positive Health Gains from our Computer Training Courses

After compiling statistics on the General Confidence and General Wellbeing of 23 learners on courses between Novemebr 2006 to January 2008 we found an increase in these two areas after learners had completed training. See Chart below.

Computer Training at SYCIL

Forget large class sizes, forget waiting ages for help, at SYCIL we can offer computer training in a STRESS FREE environment, we only train with two learners at a time and we can offer one to one training if required, all this ensures you get 100% of your tutors attention. Alternative Computer Access Assessments

Use of computers and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is now fundamental to most aspects of daily life from work to leisure. In addition ICT empowers and enriches many people's lives bringing together communities, opening up new vistas of opportunity and providing access to a wealth of services and information. It is essential therefore to ensure that all members of the community have the ability to access the technology and use the equipment.


People with difficulties accessing ICT via conventional methods may benefit from the provision of specialist mechanisms or devices, such as:
